About
My research focuses on long-range regional environmental planning in post-productivist forest- and resource-dependent regions in Northern Ontario. Specifically, I examine how regional planning can address the cumulative, multi-scale temporal and spatial challenges inherent to forestry-dependent regions experiencing social, economic, and environmental transitions, and how medium- to long-term futures and uncertainty can be planned for in regions actively going through these transitions. My work also explores how diverse and/orĀ conflicting values can be accounted for when planning for long-term futures in a post-productivist landscape.
