About
I am a PhD Candidate in Communication and Culture at York and Ryerson Universities. I hold an MA in Communication Studies and a BA in English, Minor in Communication Studies, Minor in Film Studies, from the University of Calgary. Currently, I am conducting fieldwork for my dissertation studying food waste through the radical food politics of GTA Freegans and Food Not Bombs members.
Further interests are the intellectual and conceptual connections between food studies and waste studies; radical environmentalism; anarchist methodologies and urban studies.
