Laura Taylor studies exurbia and the issues of urban growth and natural and cultural heritage conservation in Toronto’s countryside. She teaches regional planning, political ecology, and cultural landscape studies. She is a consulting planner in the greater Toronto area, and a registered professional planner with the Ontario Professional Planners Institute.
