About

I am currently a PhD. Candidate at York University. Prior to attending York, I received a Master’s degree in Business Administration from UFRGS, and a bachelor degree in Social Communication from UFSM, in Brazil.

My research projects converge around connecting consumer behavior with marketing management. They examine how consumers and marketers congregate in networked markets and they investigate the social and dynamic aspects of existing markets. More specifically, my dissertation investigates a hybrid of interwoven commercial and gift economies, and considers the processes through which consumers and marketers negotiate rewards and costs derived from the joint development of a market.
I have presented my work at major Marketing conferences, including AMA, ACR and CCT.
In addition to pursuing my research interests, I am a part-time instructor for undergraduate courses at Schulich School of Business.
